About Anderson’s Playschool

Welcome to Anderson's Playschool! My name is Jeanette Anderson, Director at Anderson's Playschool. I have been teaching preschool for 30 years, and I have loved every minute of it. I had accepted my first preschool assistant position with the Boys and Girls Club, where I taught preschoolers the necessary computer skills. Soon after, I pursued my career in education at Orange Coast College and became a certified preschool teacher. I continued my education at Riverside Community College to obtained credits to become a director for early childhood education. During this time, I spent valuable time volunteering with a local Head Start Program and a homeless family shelter, where I organized and developed their first preschool program. I taught for six years at Edgewood Pre-Primary Academy in Orange County.

I have always wanted to teach children, not just babysit. Once I witnessed how much a child could be taught and how an early academic-based education gives a child an advantage emotionally, socially, and intellectually, I realized my passion. It is gratifying to see a child's self-confidence grow as they grasp a new concept and a new skill. This passion continues to push me to help my students obtain their highest potential. For the past twelve years, I have conducted a 36-week preschool program, Summer Camp and Mini Summer Camp, at the Orange Terrace Community Center located in Riverside. I chose the Community Center because it has allowed me to give back to my community by keeping costs low and involving parents in their child's education. Our families' needs are significant to us, and our staff is committed to meeting those needs. Much of our business comes from referrals and repeat business.

Would you mind coming by and visiting us anytime? I look forward to meeting you and your child/children and partnering with you in your child's early education.
